Accrington Stanley jest klubem piłkarskim z Accrington w hrabstwie Lancashire, z północno-zachodniej Anglii, założonym w 1968 roku. W 1962 roku Oxford United F.C. zastąpiło Accrington Stanley (które zbankrutowało) w Football League Fourth Division.
