Sheehan współpracował z takimi grupa muzycznymi jak: UFO, Niacin, Mr. Big, Devil's Slingshot i Planet X. Występował także w zespołach, wokalisty Davida Lee Rotha oraz wirtuoza gitary Steve'a Vaia.
