Hrabstwo powstało w 1796 roku[3]. Na jego terenie znajdują się miejscowości: Adams, Cedar Hill, Coopertown, Cross Plains, Greenbrier, Orlinda, Ridgetop, Springfield (siedziba administracyjna), White House[4].
