Hrabstwo powstało w 1823 roku[3]. Na jego terenie znajdują się miejscowości: Dresden (siedziba administracyjna), Gleason, Greenfield, Martin, Sharon oraz obszary niemunicypalne: Dukedom, Palmersville[4].
