John Henry McDowell (ur. w 1942 roku w RPA) – brytyjski filozof, zajmujący się szczególnie filozofią analityczną, filozofią umysłu oraz problematyką filozofii działania. Jest obecnie profesorem filozofii na uniwersytecie w Pittsburgh w USA.
