SummerSlam – doroczna gala PPV wrestlingu federacji WWE organizowana w sierpniu od 1988 roku. W trakcie gali odbywają się walki między wrestlerami rosterów WWE RAW, SmackDown! i NXT. Pierwsza gala SummerSlam odbyła się 29 sierpnia 1988 r. w Madison Square Garden w Nowym Jorku. W odróznieniu od pierwszej gali Royal Rumble, który był specjalnie transmitowany dla telewizji USA Network, gala SummerSlam była od samego początku galą PPV. W pierwotnym założeniu miała być narzędziem walki z konkurencyjną federacją WCW. Z czasem uzyskała miano największej imprezy lata w profesjonalnym wrestlingu ("The Biggest Event of the Summer"). Wchodzi w skład WWE Big Four, czyli czterech najważniejszych gal każdego roku federacji WWE.
