Rzekotka zielona^[17] (Dryophytes cinereus) – gatunek płaza bezogonowego z rodziny rzekotkowatych (Hylidae).

Występowanie[edytuj | edytuj kod]

Zwierzę występuje na południowym wschodzie Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki^[16]. Zostało też introdukowane do Portoryko^[16]. Natomiast jego obecność w Meksyku podlega dyskusji^[16].

Siedlisko tego zwierzęcia to bagna^[16], mokradła^[16], rzeki i strumienie^[16], a także stawy i jeziora^[16].

Rozmnażanie[edytuj | edytuj kod]

Samce, usadowiwszy się nad wodą nawet do wysokości 5 metrów, nawołują swe wybranki^[16]. Rozwój młodych przebiega w zbiornikach o wodzie stojącej, płytkiej^[16].

Status[edytuj | edytuj kod]

Populacja wydaje się stabilna, choć jej liczebność nie jest znana^[16]. Zwierzę zamieszkuje w kilku terenach chronionych^[16], nie wymaga żadnych dodatkowych środków ochrony^[16].
