Fabuła serialu skupia się na Murphy, niewidomej kobiecie, która jest świadkiem zabójstwa swojego przyjaciela, dilera. Policja nie wierzy w jej zeznanie. Kobieta postanawia znaleźć sprawcę na własną rękę, a pomaga jej pies przewodnik, Pretzel.

Pod koniec stycznia 2018 roku, stacja The CW zamówiła pilotowy odcinek serialu[31]. W marcu 2018 roku, poinformowano, że Perry Mattfeld, Brooke Markham, Keston John, Kathleen York oraz Derek Webster dołączyli do obsady[2][3].

12 maja 2018 roku stacja The CW zamówiła serial na sezon telewizyjny na sezon 2018/19[32].[33].

25 kwietnia 2019 roku, stacja The CW przedłużyła serial o drugi sezon[34].

Na początku stycznia 2020 roku stacja The CW ogłosiła zamówienie trzeciego sezonu[35].
