Local elections in Poland will take place on November 21, 2010. According to the data from the National Electoral Commision (PKW) over 12 thousand electoral committees registered for the vote. Statistically, the highest number of comittees per gmina was registered in Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

The total number of committes registered until October 27 is 12 536. This includes 22 committees formed by political parties, 3 coalition committees and 397 committees formed by various organizations (the rest of them were formed by individual candidates or informal groups). 10 386 of the committees were registered in gminas with less than 20 000 inhabitans, while 1728 were registered in larger gminas. In the case of smaller gminas the competition is smaller, with 4,82 committee per gmina. The average for larger gminas is 5,32.
