First, sorry not to ask you in your language, but mowię tylko trochę po polsku.
Currently I am collecting facts for biographies of the alpine skiers at the 1936 Winter Olympics. For the two of the three Polish skiers (the third one was Bronisław Czech) I could hardly find any information so far. But in the Polskie Archiwum Biograficzne there are references, that might be helpful. All of them, of course, books published in Poland. So my request is, if somebody could help me in bringing out this information.
The two missing Polish alpine skiers are Fedor Weinschenk (also Feodor, Teodor) and Karol Zajac (or Karol Zajonc). Both of them have the same reference: Gluszek, Zygmunt: Polscy olimpijczycy 1924-1976: Leksykon. - Wyd. 3. uzup. - Warszawa: Sport i Turystyka, 1980. Maybe this book is for somebody available. Po pierwsze, sorry że nie piszę w Waszym języku, ale (tu cytat) mówię tylko trochę po polsku (koniec cytatu). Aktualnie kolekcjonuje informacje i biografie narciarzy z Olimpiady 1936. Nie mogę znaleźć informacji o dwóch z trzech Polskich narciarzy (trzeci to Bronisław Czech). Znalazłem dotychczas o nich tylko strzępki informacji. Ale w Polskim Archiwum Biograficznym są informacje o książkąch, które mogą być pomocne. Wszystkie z nich oczywiście były wydane w Polsce. Więc moja proźba jest taka, żeby ktoś kto może pomógł mi w zdobyciu tych informacji. Tych dwóch brakujących polskich narciarzy to Fedor Weinschenk (również: Feodor, Teodor) i Karol Zajac (najprawdopodobniej Zając przyp. tł.) lub Karol Zajonc (raczej nie :) przyp. tł.). Obydwoje znajdują się w tym samym źródle: Gluszek, Zygmunt: Polscy olimpijczycy 1924-1976: Leksykon. - Wyd. 3. uzup. - Warszawa: Sport i Turystyka, 1980. Może ta książka jest komuś dostępna.
