English: Carl Erik Mannerheim (1759–1837) was a Finnish-Swedish soldier and a statesman. He is considered "one of the founders of the State of Finland".
Mannerheim was the first Vice-chairman of the Economic Division (effectively Finland's first Prime Minister) of the Senate of Finland.
Mannerheim participated in the Anjala conspiracy and was sentenced to be hanged. But he was pardoned.
