Deutsch: Karte von Südchile aus dem Jahr 1610 (Norden links; unten die Pazifikküste, oben ist die Gebirgskette der Anden eingezeichnet), entstanden als Teil eines militärischen Berichts mit Darstellung der im Arauko-Krieg zerstörten Ansiedlungen (durchgestrichene Siedlungssymbole ganz rechts). Map was produced in 1610 as part of a report on the state of the Spanish attempt to supress an indigeneous rebellion in southern Chile (Arauco War, a long-running conflict between colonial Spaniards and the Mapuche people fought in the Araucanía).
