Deutsch: Das Wappen entstammt einem Siegel von 1531, dass bis 1789 geführt wurde. Es wurde am 2. Dezember 1937 vom bayerischen Reichsstatthalter, zu dem die Pfalz früher gehörte, verliehen. Es zeigt den pfälzischen Löwen und die bayerischen Wecken auch Rauten genannt.
English: The arms were granted on December 2, 1937. The upper half shows the lion of Palatinate and the lower part the arms of Bavaria, were the area belonged to.
