Dendroplex – rodzaj ptaków z rodziny tęgosterowatych (Dendrocolaptidae).

Występowanie

Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące w Ameryce Środkowej i Południowej^[2].

Morfologia

Długość ciała 18–24 cm, masa ciała 33–51 g^[3].

Systematyka

Nazewnictwo

Nazwa rodzajowa jest połączeniem słów z języka greckiego: δενδρον dendron – „drzewo” oraz πλησσω plēssō – „uderzać”^[4].

Podział systematyczny

Niżej wymienione gatunki są zaakceptowane przez Międzynarodowy Komitet Ornitologiczny^[2]. Takson wyodrębniony z rodzaju Xiphorhynchus^[5]^[6]^[7]. Do rodzaju należą następujące gatunki^[8]:

Dendroplex picus (Gmelin,JF, 1788) – mieczonos jasnodzioby
Dendroplex kienerii (Des Murs, 1856) – mieczonos amazoński
