Ellina, the Bride of Montross – poemat amerykańskiego prawnika, prozaika i poety Williama Vicarsa Lawrance’a, opublikowany w 1873 nakładem oficyny Riverside Press. Utwór został zadedykowany generałowi Wellsowi S. Jonesowi. Składa się z sześciu części: The Meeting, The Capture, The Prison, The Escape, The Mountain Camp i The Bridal. Poemat jest poprzedzony Introduction, napisanym strofą spenserowską.

These are but pictures of the things that were

And are, and live in memories fresh and bright;

No visions painted of the empty air,

That take their shadings in our fancy's light;

But such as live forever in the sight

Of eyes that saw in all their darkness shown,

Of hearts that felt, amid this horror's night,

The depths of grief unfathomable, known

To those who suffered in the shock alone.
