Hrabstwo powstało w 1870 roku[3]. Na jego terenie znajdują się miejscowości: Corinth (siedziba administracyjna), Farmington, Glen, Kossuth, Rienzi oraz obszary niemunicypalne: Biggersville, Hinkle, Indian Springs, Jacinto, Kendrick, Pisgah, Wenasoga[4].
