Joe Perry, właśc. Anthony Joseph Pereira[1] (ur. 10 września 1950 w Lawrence)[1] – amerykański gitarzysta rockowy.
Życiorys [edytuj]
W 1970 wraz z wokalistą Stevenem Tylerem i basistą Tomem Hamiltonem założył zespół Aerosmith. W zespole również śpiewał. Opuścił Aerosmith w 1979 i w tym samym roku założył The Joe Perry Project. W 1984 powrócił do Aerosmith. W 2005 wydał solową płytę zatytułowaną Joe Perry. Rozwiedziony we wrześniu 1985 z Elissą Jerret, od września 1985 żonaty z Billie Paulette Montgomery Perry. Z pierwszą żoną ma jednego syna, a z drugą dwóch. W 2001 Perry gościnnie zagrał na solowej płycie Micka Jaggera Goddess in the Doorway.
W 2003 został sklasyfikowany na 48. miejscu listy 100 najlepszych gitarzystów wszech czasów magazynu „Rolling Stone”[2]. Z kolei w 2004 roku muzyk wraz Bradem Whitfordem został sklasyfikowany na 18. miejscu listy 100 najlepszych gitarzystów heavymetalowych wszech czasów magazynu Guitar World[3].
