Apichatpong Weerasethakul (IPA: à-pʰí-châːt-pʰoŋ wiː-rá-sè-tʰà-kun, taj. อภิชาติพงศ์ วีระเศรษฐกุล, ur. 16 lipca 1970 w Bangkoku) – tajski niezależny reżyser filmowy, scenarzysta i producent. Jego film Tropical Malady zdobył nagrodę na MFF w Cannes w 2004 roku, Blissfully Yours zdobył nagrodę Un Certain Regard na MFF w Cannes w 2003 roku. Syndromes and a Century miał premierę na 63. MFF w Wenecji. W 2010, jego film Wujek Boonmee, który potrafi przywołać swoje poprzednie wcielenia zdobył Złotą Palmę w Cannes.
